Come our all week to the Teddy Bear Toss – on the road! For the past 15 years, the New York Sash Teddy Bear Toss has been a family-favorite holiday event with the Utica College Pioneers. The hockey game and toy drive usually raises over 4,000 stuffed animals for local children. This year things look a little different, with the status of college hockey up in the air. One thing that has not changed is the need for toys. Because of this, New York Sash has brought the Teddy Bear Toss into the community with a mobile donation rink.
Thank you to everyone who helped us kick off the new Teddy Bear Toss this past weekend at Sangertown Square and the Public Market. We will be set up this Monday through Thursday, 8-6 at New York Sash and Friday December 4th 8-6 for our finale at Babe’s. So come out to toss in your bears and support a good cause. Don’t forget, all stuffed animals must be new.
