Introducing “Open Doors” – A New Video Series Celebrating Our Neighbors!
At CNY’s Open House, alongside our parent company New York Sash, we believe that behind every business, every neighborhood, and every gathering in Central New York, there’s a story worth sharing. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce and What’s Upstate to launch a brand-new video series: “Open Doors.”
Open Doors will shine a light on the positive, inspiring, and heartfelt stories happening all around us. From local businesses making a difference, to volunteers going above and beyond, to everyday people doing extraordinary things — this series is all about celebrating the good news in our community.
Each episode will feature Chamber Executive Director Kari Puleo visiting with individuals, businesses, and organizations who are opening doors for others and making CNY a better place to live, work, and grow.
How You Can Get Involved
We want to hear from YOU! Do you know a neighbor, business, or group that deserves to be recognized? We are now accepting nominations for future Open Doors stories!
Nominate someone who:
- Is making a positive impact in the community
- Has overcome challenges to help others
- Embodies the spirit of kindness, leadership, or service
- Is bringing fresh ideas, energy, and hope to Upstate New York
